Tallow takes the best parts of the classic New York steakhouse and makes them feel new again.

Set inside the landmark former Lord & Taylor building on Fifth Avenue, Tallow is a modern Midtown steakhouse from FB Society. Great steak is at the heart of the menu, but there's plenty more to discover.

Steak frites is a Tallow signature, but it's not the whole story. Come for dinner, stop in for a burger at lunch or take a seat at the bar after work. The wine is clean and the martinis are dirty. And when it comes to dessert, we're keeping a few steakhouse traditions alive with tableside classics and our signature chocolate chip cookies.

The name comes from beef tallow, a cooking fat that has been used for centuries for its rich flavor and ability to handle high heat. At Tallow, it's what makes our hand-cut fries so good and even finds its way behind the bar in the Tallow Old Fashioned.
